HEALTHCARE INFORMATICS
The Health Care Informatics Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree is an interdisciplinary academic program that combines concepts in healthcare administration, information technology (IT), healthcare data analytics, Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR), performance enhancements, and organizational leadership, with real-world assignments to prepare students for a dynamic career in the field of health informatics. Graduates from this degree can pursue careers in fields such as hospital systems, private clinics, public health organizations, pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, and private healthcare technology corporations.
The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Health Care Informatics offers a flexible upper level 60-credit-hour degree designed specifically for students who have earned an associate degree from a regionally accredited institution in health sciences, computer technology, business, or other related field.
The program will be primarily delivered on line, but it may include other delivery methods including traditional and hybrid.
